Manage media

Manage images, videos, and files from the site media library.

The Media section is the media repository of each site. It stores and organizes the assets used across the website, including images, videos, and files.
Media can include assets collected during the initial content import, assets uploaded manually, images imported from a booking engine, and files coming from other external sources.

Media library

From Media, you can browse the assets available for the current site, organize them into folders, upload new files, and create new folders.

You can also access the media folders of other sites you have permission to view. This lets you reuse images from another site without uploading them again. When you use an image from another site, the platform creates a copy and saves it in the current site's Media library.

Image details

When you open an image from Media, you can view the original file, copy its URL, download it, and edit its metadata.
The platform keeps the original file name. When an image is uploaded, AI automatically generates a Title and a Description (alt text). Both fields can be edited manually and translated with AI for each active language.

Image optimization

When an image is used on the public website, the platform generates optimized versions for different sizes and layouts.
The original file remains available in Media, but the images displayed on public websites are served in .webp format, regardless of the original file format uploaded.
This helps improve performance while keeping the original asset available for download or reuse.

Video details

When you open a video from Media, you can view the original video, copy its URL, download it, and edit its ARIA label.
Unlike images, video metadata is not generated automatically with AI.

Using images from a panel

When you add an image from a block, module, or page panel, the image is selected from Media. From the image selector, you can:

• Use an image already available in the current site's Media library.
• Import an image from another site you have access to.
• Upload a new image at that moment.

Depending on how the image will be used, you may also be able to adjust a specific crop. A crop controls which part of an image is visible inside a specific design. It does not replace the original file. Some designs may use different crops for desktop and mobile. This is useful when the same image needs different framing depending on the screen size.

At this point, you can also adjust the image Title and Description (alt text).

Using videos from a panel

When you add a video from a panel, select the video from Media or upload a new one if needed. After selecting the video, you can configure its ARIA label and playback settings, such as whether the video should show controls, start muted, autoplay, loop, or play inline.

Using files from a panel

Files are used from link fields. To link to a file, edit the link field and choose Document link as the destination. Then select the file from media. You can also configure how the link should open, add a tooltip, and review the ARIA label.

After changing media

After replacing, cropping, or updating media, review where it is used. Pay special attention to designs with overlapping elements, galleries, sliders, cards, large hero images, videos, document links, or mobile-specific layouts.
