How integrations work
Connect external tools and third-party services from the Integrations section. Integrations are managed from Settings → Integrations. They let you connect external tools to the site, such as analytics platforms, cookie consent tools, marketing services, maps, booking-related tools, chat systems, or other third-party services. The integrations available may change depending on the workspace, site configuration, and permissions. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/d/Few readersUse Google Tag Manager for custom integrations
Use Google Tag Manager to add custom tracking and third-party tags. Google Tag Manager lets you manage tracking scripts and marketing tags without adding each script directly to the site code. Use it when you need to add services that do not have a native integration, or when your marketing or analytics team manages tags from Google Tag Manager. Add custom code to the <head> or <body> when a native integration is not enough. Some external services provide code snippets that must be added directly to the website. You can add these snippets from the site customization settings. Use this option when there is no native integration for the service, when the provider gives you a specific verification tag, or when the code cannot be managed through Google Tag Manager. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/d/a/c/0/dFew readers
